Business Analyst I

Responsibilities

  • Define and document business functions and processes.

  • Analyze the integration of business functions with technology.

  • Assist with business case development and business process re-engineering.

  • Apply data science and identify techniques in lean-agile environment.

Required Skills

  • At least one (1) project of a multi-year agile transformation with a public sector agency.

  • Supports Agile Teams and the Agile SDLC process by providing documentation, prototyping, systems analysis, requirements.

  • Write user stories, user acceptance criteria and other resources that enable the constant flow of value through the team.

  • Analyze the integration of business functions with technology.

  • Coach and assist with Application Lifecycle Management tooling configuration.

  • Assess the benefits of deploying the in-scope capabilities across the enterprise.

  • Apply data science and identify techniques in lean-agile environment.

  • Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generating alternatives, evaluating and selecting alternatives and implementing solutions.

  • Able to drive things forward regardless of personal interest in the task.

Typical Education & Experience

  • Typically requires a BS or 3+ years of Business Analysis experience and demonstrated skill set in systems analysis, and workflow diagrams.

  • This is a 1099 Contract.
